Although Austria is not yet a very popular tourist destination (in France) it deserves to be interested very closely.
I spent a week where I discovered: Linz, Vocklabruck, Ramsau am Dachstein mountain, Hallstatt, Gosau lakes and Vienna.
Mid-August, shift after my trip to the Seychelles I'm back in Europe, this time to a destination less expected.
I fly from CGD and I arrive in 1h30 in Vienna, Austria. You probably do not know, but this city has been elected:
09 times "city that offers the best quality of life" OF THE WORLD!
Certainly, Austria isn't the "tropical" destination of your dreams for your summer vacation, and yet, it holds many surprises.
Austria: the perfect country for hiking fans
For my part, it was a first time and I loved it! We took 05h in the mountain Hocklecken. At the top of the mountain a small house allows you to eat traditional Austrian meals :).
I am also going to the Dachstein mountain for finding spot for a photoshoot that will take place in a few days :).
#Linz: a surprising artistic city
#HOEHENRAUSCH is a closed and open circuit that will allow you to admire the city of Lintz while discovering the work of more than 40 artists on the theme of water until October 14th.
#Salzburg: the city of Mozart
A small town with amazing full of charms by its traditional streets and castles.
#Hallstatt: the popular village of Asians
Hallstatt is more than a pretty little village; it is currently the oldest village in Europe still living. The Asians are so fans that a replica of Hallstatt was made in China.
#TIPS If you do not want to be invaded by tourists I advise you to go there from 07h until 10h.
#LOVE for the lakes of Gosau: two magical days where I was able to make a hike of 3 hours to discover the three lakes (or rather two in summer)
#Vienna: the best city to live in the world X9
Vienna deserves a lot of attention and a day and a half is not enough to discover this city which I do not doubt full of surprises.
I was able to go to the "Rue de la Thirst" where you can enjoy wine directly made in the garden by the vineyards. The street is long ... 30 minutes walk before you get to the top where we have incredible views of the city so do stay too much in each restaurant;)
Which airline to choose?
Level (Vueling) offers very attractive prices and you can easily find prices 02 ways at 70 €.
The first way was with Air Austria and on the return with Level (vueling) I pay for less than 100 € by booking 01 weeks in advance.
I was able to enjoy all the traditional Austrian meals all week and I can tell you that some are as surprising as the XD pancake soup.
I put you in picture my favorites J
The quality of life in Austria is amazing, I relived my childhood: The smell of bread from the bakery, smell fresh fruits and vegetables, drink tap water (without smell) and drink water of the lake ( this is new and so good lol) ....
I hope through this article that you will have another vision on this beautiful country :-)
